Welcome to Mark Cutlers Store in Wilson Street, Collarenebri, NSW.
Since taking over the store in April 2010 Mark and Isabel have transformed "Cutlers Store" into an eatery/takeaway, a store of interesting collectables, including an eye catching and unusual collection of "nuts and bolts" figures and vehicles, metal and wooden puzzles to drive you crazy, (brain teasers), some of "The World's Most Beautiful jigsaw puzzles", handcrafted soaps and jewelry. Recently added items include Aboriginal designed gifts that include playing cards, mouse mats, drink coasters and jigsaws. The store attracts a wide ranging clientel of locals and travellers, tradies and itinerant workers.
Those who appreciate good food recommend the Devonshire Teas with homemade scones and Lavazza Cappucinos. The hungry traveller can happily tuck into a bacon and egg roll (we only use the best "short" bacon here) or a mouthwatering, home made and freshly cooked burger (beef or chicken), with onions, bacon and egg served in a large, crispy roll from the Moree Bakery. Add some salad if you wish.(The burgers are better at Cutlers). As all our food is freshly cooked to order, we do not sell pies that have been sat in a food warmer for several hours because, quite simply, we believe "fresh is best".
We also stock a small supply of basic groceries ranging from dairy produce, cereals and tinned goods etc to shampoo and deoderants, handy early in the morning if you are camping at the free campsite just to the east of town.
Open at 8am Mon-Sat and 9am Sun we are the only place in town for that sit down early breakfast and coffee to get your day off to a good start.
The wide range of gifts make it easy to buy locally and for tourists, postcards, showing local river scenes, are available from photos taken by local photographer and previous owner, Marlene Cutler.
We look forward to your visit as you pass through Collarenebri. Hopefully you'll stop a while and enjoy a snack and the best coffee in town. If you're in a hurry, give us a call and we'll have your order ready for you to take away.
Located at the northern end of town on the main street, there is ample on street parking outside the store for trucks and other large vehicles.
